Gain essential first‑aid skills to handle emergencies like injuries, choking, poisoning, allergic reactions, CPR and more. Perfect for groomers, pet owners, and animal‑care professionals wanting confidence and skills to act when it matters.
This one‑day course gives you everything you need to respond confidently to canine emergencies. You’ll learn how to: recognise signs of distress, perform a primary survey (DR ABC), check vital signs (pulse, temperature, respiration), dress wounds and manage injuries; respond to choking, poisoning, allergic reactions, stings, seizures, hypothermia, heat‑stroke and more; perform CPR on dogs; apply bandages correctly; and understand what to keep in a canine first‑aid kit.
The course combines theory and practical sessions — so you’ll practise real‑life scenarios under expert guidance. On completion you’ll receive a nationally recognised iPET first‑aid certificate, giving you extra credibility as a groomer or pet professional.
